So D was doing laundry and well T decided he wanted to climb into the washer. T is a weird one at times, but I love him with all my heart and would be lost without my son. (Oh my I realized he hadn’t brushed his teeth yet when this pic was taken lol)

Yesterday I made chocolate cookies with white chips and well they got left out on the counter. This morning D woke up and took care of T and always lets me get a little bit more sleep, well T came into our room to wake mumma up so cute cause he comes in the room and just climbs in bed. Well a few mins later I hear T going down the steps and then back upstairs to come into our room. I’m laying there still trying to finish waking up, since I don’t know what good sleep is anymore, always tossing and turning. But anyways, T climbs into our bed and takes my hand and puts a cookie in it, then sits down and eats a cookie too. I looked in my hand and just went “awww” he brought a cookie up for mumma and one for himself. I then asked if he had one for daddy, he goes “NO” even asked if he would get one for daddy he says “no” so guess he isn’t too mad at mommy.

Now if we can just get him to stop this screaming non-sense will be doing better. Every time he don’t get his way he screams at the top of his lungs, and I have to keep telling him to stop and when he don’t I just have to walk away cause it gets too out of hand, or I’ll just sit on the couch watch him throw his toys and wait for him to stop his non-sense.

Sewing Tags

So I am starting up an Etsy shop very soon, but need to think of a tag to add to items I make. Now some items will just have the name and some might have a little design with it. I need help on choosing which one. I personally like them all, I have asked personal friends on Facebook and have gotten awesome results, I also made D take a copy of all the designs to work since he does work with some women lol. Now I need my fellow bloggers to give me their opinion. Now ignore the color of the fabric it was just what scraps I had laying around, I need to know which DESIGN you guys like. Now the one block is a simple one that will be used no matter what for some sewing items due to they may be small projects. Thank you in advance to the one’s that help me with my choice.

Kindle sitting all nice and comfy

Case I made for my Kindle Fire. I didn’t want to pay the price they want at the stores. I think the cheapest I seen was like $20 but I knew I can make one just as good and won’t cost except what fabric I have at home. Best part is I used a fat quarter and still had some fabric left over.

The only part I don’t like is I forgot to add the elastic while sewing so I just super glued them in, so it works temporarily for now until I make another one. I have to say not bad for having NO pattern to follow, just an idea I had in my head. So with the next one I will try and make a pattern but can’t guarantee it.

Me with my new apron

So I went and found this really cute apron kit at Walmart and figured “heck I can make this”. Finally late last night got it all cut out and this afternoon put it together. It says something bout a simple put together, it took almost 2 hours! I think the hemming is what took so long cause I didn’t like how they said to do it. But to be honest I like this apron, I’ve never really worn one and never owned one til now.

I finally decided to try it on cause I was a little iffy bout it cause as you can see I’m a big mumma, but it actually fit pretty nice and comfy. I love the little pocket its so darn cute, just wish it came with two of them instead. I’m not used to modeling my own stuff off, and I hate getting my pic done but there ya go. I did however finally get D to give in and let me take a pic of him modeling it, since he models everything else I make. I am really liking this apron and today I went and bought another kit and hopefully it comes out just as nice as this one did.

Kindle Fire

My lovely fiance went and bought me my Kindle Fire. I’ve been wanting to get one since last year but hey bills and our son’s needs come first. Finally on Feb. 15th we had enough money and he went and bought it for me. I was so excited/happy when the purchase was final lol. D said I was just glowing and didn’t stop smiling. Seriously I love it, I have had NO problems it, and couldn’t be any happier. I did a lot of research and even had a friend look into which one was better between the Nook and the Kindle. Of course each one has the positive notes and their negative notes. I finally had decided the day before that I definitely wanted the Kindle.

For the past few days I have been messing around with some of the apps and already have a few books on it well kids books for T. There are so many cute kid books I want to get to have for T cause its going to be so nice with our upcoming vacation. I would recommend anyone looking into getting one, to get it. I was iffy cause of the memory I still have 4GB of memory left on mine and I have a lot of music and few books already on it.

I also can do WordPress while on it too!! That was something I really like, so if I’m out and got internet I can do up a post right there and then. Its just amazing at what the Kindle can do!!
